Third Blog
I really liked the podcast the best so far! I even could use it for a presentation. I am a very creative person and with this project I was able to show that side. I also love, love, love to take pictures! I am newly finding out my technology abilities but after looking through things briefly I was able to figure everything out. I really enjoyed the end result and so did Jessica Yost. I also thought the program was very easy to use! I will be using it with my classroom. Now on the other hand the final WebQuest project was harder than I anticipated! I had to really watch the videos and have others help me to try and find things. Also the hyperlinks were confusing because you had to click on the box below and not on the actual thing you wanted to link.

Second Blog
I liked the Wiki project it really taught me a lot about Skype and SMART boards. I also loved the powerpoint that was so much fun to see the final outcome and definately be used in an early education classroom. I am really enjoying the class a lot and learning so much! I am even enjoying teaching myself the material and asking others for help! My advice to other bloggers out there take Information Technology online!

My first blog EVER!
This is a monumentous day for me! I can't believe I am on a computer, with internet and actually blogging! I don't have a computer with internet at home nor did I know how to do half of this stuff before I enrolled in this class. I know shocking, someone to not have internet at home in the year 2010! I am way out of the loop you could say. That being said these first assignments have really taught me a lot.
The pageflakes was a whole new world for me! I had no idea that a site of the sort even existed. It ended up taking me two hours to complete, a few calls to some friends and watching all the instructional Youtube videos but I did it! Most importantly, I learned how to embedd a Youtube video to a pageflake site. I really was surprised yet happy with myself when I was finished! I truly felt accomplished the whole rest of the day.
The word assignment really taught me a lot. All children now a days are raised using word to write papers and make fliers but this actually challenged me. The most troubling part was coming up with an idea and not using a templete because that is how one is taught previously. Not to mention I am a perfectionst when it comes to artisitic things so I think I probably started over ten times. I even switched my idea of what I was going to do more than once. At one point I got so fustrated with myself I deleted it and starting over. I started over so many times that I came back to it the next day! Yeah a little much I know but I still loved my end product. I also learned how to make columns and tables for the newsletter. I might even use it in my classroom in like oh say three years from now.
Well thats all for now until the next assignment.
